You can simply wander the local lanes and call for lunch and a pint at the local pub in Fulbeck, or venture further a field and indulge in some Christmas shopping in Lincoln. You can enjoy the full Christmas experience at Doddington Hall or head into historic Lincoln itself for some wonderful Christmas shopping experiences which will meet all of your needs; from the small private boutiques in the picturesque heritage areas of the Bailgate and Steep Hill to the High Street where you can find all of the shops you will recognise.

A few dates for your diary...

Saturday 22nd October 2016: is a busy day in the food calendar with the increasingly popular Lincoln Sausage Festival being held at Lincoln Castle; and a quick dash into the next County will take you to The Bramley Apple Festival being held in Southwell Minster, Nottinghamshire, where Cottage proprietors, Andrew and Ronnie Ownsworth will be selling their cold pressed rapeseed oil and gift packs perfect for Christmas.

Now that the cold weather is starting to arrive (I didn't want to get out of my cosy bed this morning) our thoughts are increasingly turning to Christmas...
